Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is a fantastic game. The single-player experience is easily Infinity Ward's best work to date.The overall story is standard action movie fare, but the relationships built over the short five hours of play are surprisingly strong. Microsoft Makes New Xbox 360 Arcade Official

Like the new $399 PlayStation 3 model, Microsoft's has now officially announced the new Xbox 360 Arcade bundle.

It will replace the former $279.99 Core model, which is the cheapest,version that came with a wired controller but no hard drive. The new Arcade version doesnt come with a hard drive and will also sell for $279.99, but at least it comes with a 256-megabyte memory card for game saves, a wireless controller, and five games from the Xbox Live Arcade ('Pac-Man', 'Boom Boom Rocket', 'Feeding Frenzy', 'Luxor 2', and 'Uno'). SmartHouse is reporting that Microsoft and Toshiba are working on an updated Xbox 360 with a built-in HD DVD drive. SmartHouse also claims that the new box will be Toshiba-branded and have dual HDTV tuners, electronic program guide capabilities, built-in wireless networking, and sport an "MP3 player" dock, which we'd imagine would be for a Zune.
